This machine is by far the WORST designed washing machine I have ever had. 1) You have to wait 2-3 minutes before the machine ever begins to put water into the tub and if you put your detergent in before the water is in the tub it will suck it out of the tub and detergent is wasted.2) Lid lock...

Purchased 5-1-11 for $359, stopped working 10-27-11, warranty work to be $474.87. Needs new gear box and pump. Used by 2 older people, never heavy use. I think that speaks for itself.

Lid lock when started, takes an hour to wash 1 load.
This Washer is so easy to use and cost much less than comparable washers, I can't recommend it any higher.
