Mysterious refrigerator
I have had this refrigerator for 10 months. It is very good at its ice and water functions and coldness controls There was a rack in the inside door that who only knows what its for. Only small bottles will fit in it. Is that for eggs? I actually spent time on the net trying to find out.
Then there are the lights that periodically come up on the front panel display. except NOWHERE in the manual is what these lights signify! So, each light is a trip to a refrigerator repair forum to find out what it means. All other Whirlpool models have a section in their user manual called "operating instructions" which explain the lights on their model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a week ago. Had it delivered and installed. Not as loud as I anticipated based on previous reviews. Would prefer shelves inside be movable. Also water dispenser is too far forward. If move glass before shuts off it misses the tray. The can holder on the door only holds 2-12oz cans not 3 as the picture depicts. Would have liked another shelf instead. Overall we are pleased with it so far. Shelves have plenty of room inside and on the door. The lighting is great. Very bright. Everything is working fine. Water and Ice dispensers very easy to do and I like being able to change temp settings without opening door.

Not as good as I hoped

I purchased this particular model because it was the only model available without waiting until December that would fit in my kitchen space. My previous refrigerator had stopped working so I needed one asap. I am extremely disappointed that the ice maker area in the freezer door does not come with a tray to collect the overspill of ice and the water drips. Also the water from said dispenser is so slow coming out it is hardly worth using. Also the drops from the water dispenser make a mess of the front of the freezer because there is no drip tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a specified space for the refrigerator to fit and my friend's company no longer made the size I needed. He had a friend that sold whirlpool and got me one through him. Unfortunately, I didn't think to have them send me options to approve. I can't believe you would actually make a refrigerator that you can't adjust the shelves where you want them. One size does not fit all. There is no adjustments on the vegetable bin. The ice maker took four days to fill and does not have the capacity to have "plenty" of ice. So disappointed. I gave you one star because it does keep things cold.

Overall a useful product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like our new fridge, however there are a few things that could definitely be improved.
1. The refrigerator door literally "slams open". You must catch it before it does. There should be a bumper or something to stop it before the hinges break. Or at least some sort of adjustment to prevent it from happening! (The freezer door works fine)
2. The shelves in the main compartment are not adjustable and the fixed heights are awkward. The should be adjustable to suit personnel requirements.
3. The lights are in the rear of the compartments. The would be more useful if mounted in the front.

Terrible Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water dispenser drips down the face of the door. The light is inadequate for the dispenser. The dispenser does not accommodate anything other than a small water bottle or cup appropriately. It is noisy and sounds like a cow giving birth. It randomly groans and moans for 10 plus minutes. The door flings open violently when you let go of it. The spacing for the shelves does not accommodate milk, juice etc without having to lay it down. This is the worst purchase I have ever made. Also the adjustment process is poorly designed rollers and you have to shim the refrigerator to sit squarely.

Excellent features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new 2019 mobile home and the Whirlpool refrigerator came with it. I am so glad it did because Whirlpool has been around for many, many years and they make very dependable products.
I love the huge produce drawers as well as the glass shelves. I also love the ice maker!! I drink a lot of ice water and it's nice that I don't have to open up the fridge and get water from a purified water pitcher, and refill it all the time.
The freezer has limited door space, but does have a lot of room on the shelves as well as a pull out big drawer on the bottom. It's a great refrigerator and I love it!

Nice unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking fridge, and seems well made. Seems a bit cheaper than the old Kenmore Elite it replaced; fewer light bulbs in the fridge side; door drawers are relatively thin clear plastic, not the metal and heavy plastic we were used to, and we no longer have a temperature readout for each side with a filter change reminder. Neither magnets nor Post-Its will stick, BTW, and the front is only moderately good at resisting fingerprints. However, we like the look of it inside and out and are happy with the purchase; esp. since there's little else on the market for a 33" side-by-side. :)
