Straight Forward Quality

Not only do they look fantastic, they are quiet, user friendly and quality appliances. The side by side refrigerator replaced a 20 year old one that the compressor died of old age. The shelf capacity and storage is abundant. It is so great to have a Ice/water dispenser again! It runs quiet and makes ice quite quickly! We also bought the flat top electric range and the compact microwave oven that actually fits above our stove top!! Thank you very much Whirlpool for coming up with that crafty compact over the range microwave!!

So Pretty!!

Although I hadn't intended on purchasing a stainless steel finished appliance, it was a steal, so I couldn't leave it in the store! The water comes out the door cool, but not super cold, which is ok, the interior light is super bright and so is the light on the door water/ice ice dispenser. My one concern is how the right side door kind of "falls open". I wish it was a little more "static", and there was a way to keep it from bouncing/jarring.. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase and so is everyone who's seen it!!

Good Basic Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this refrigerator for a week now, and have nothing negative to say. It runs quietly, the only loud noise being when the ice drops into the bin, which is to be expected. It cools well and makes plenty of ice. It’s very roomy in both the freezer and refrigerator sides, and I like the large door bins that can hold gallon-size containers. It has a stainless steel finish that was advertised to resist fingerprints, and it does—no smudges. This refrigerator replaced another Whirlpool that I had for 19 years. The old refrigerator was still working fine; I just wanted to update my kitchen. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The features are terrible and nonfunctional

1. there is no cover or grill for the hinges of the doors. Ugly to look at.
2. The door shelves are too wide and every bottle I put on them falls over when the door is open or closed.
3. One of the shelf appears to be missing. If not missing, to adjust the shelf to the extra notch makes one area too big and the other area too small.
4. The ice dispenser is directly behind the water dispenser. I hit the water every time I want ice and have to wipe up the spill. This is a poor design! Unacceptable!!!

A few concerns
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I bought a refrigerator sight unseen online due to Covid-19. Some things to consider are #1) not a lot of wiggle room for adjusting the shelves, they are pre-set. And #2) The design of having the water right over the ice is disconcerting, a lot of times you’ll take your cup to go get ice and it hits the water spout and and now you have water running down the front of the fridge and on your floor. Had I known these things I may have gone with another model.

Unacceptable. Poor quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many things wrong with this refrigerator number one it never stops ticking like it never goes off and it's on the optimum setting and you can hear it over the TV it's so loud. Number two as soon as we turned it on the panel under where the ice maker is the entire panel to the floor is rusted and there's no water dripping or anything it doesn't even feel like real stainless steel. Number three the ice maker never fills up it never goes beyond half full and are not home except weekends.. number four the drawers inside are pretty flimsy and they don't line up.

Not too fancy, not too plain

Not all the shelves are adjustable, but there is adjustment space on a few if you had to move them around. I preferred the wire rack shelves in the freezer, which is partly why I bought this model. The ice cubes are slightly smaller but they work the same. It runs quietly. My only complaint is the design of the water/ice lever in the door--it is difficult to get large cups in without accidentally pushing the water lever and then water spills onto the floor. But this refrigerator was a good price so I can get used to it.

A fridge that meets my needs!

I got moved into my home and I needed a brand I knew would last me a lifetime. Whirlpool has always been my #1 choice of brand if I ever need an appliance it lasts along time! And this refrigerator has alot of space and plenty of storage and I knew it would be a good fit for me not only that it includes an ice maker so that way I can hurry up and fill my water bottle with Ice in order to get on the go for work for my morning ice coffee!
