Love my new Whirlpool frig! Bought it to replace my old Maytag of the same interior design. Updated exterior is very attractive! The smudgeproof proof finish is a real bonus too. I also purchased this model because it has a single evaporator which according to repairmen is the only kind of frig one...
I've owned one of these for about 4 years. The first two years it ran great. Very energy efficient and quiet. The last two years, not so much. We've had it looked at multiple times by maintenance guys because the freezer frosted up and the fridge wasn't being chilled.
Counter depth gives me almost six more inches of space at kitchen entrance and the French doors are a breeze with party trays storage.
Doors do not close completely and frost builds up in fridge..be very careful!
My only negative is that it doesn't have a butter keeper
We bought this 13 months ago and it is nothing but trouble. Freezes everything in it. Have had service people come and they just say, don't put produce here, only put meat here...etc. Can't/won't do anything to fix it. For $2000 I would expect it to last more than one year.
