Good Basic Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want a frig without fancy features that could cause the frig not to work, this is it. Just plug it in and set the temp to use. But there are quality control issues (see photos), freezer door corners have air gaps (the metal edges did not meet correctly), section of edge of frig door had no paint; design issues (see photo), bottom drawers have not retaining clip such that the whole drawer can slide all the way out of the frig, the frig door has no stops to keep it from swinging all the way out unit it is parallel to the frig opening.
I had a Amana made by Maytag own by Whirlpool which did not have the same quality and design issues.

Sloppy track
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After installation I began using the refrigerator and noticed the freezer drawer was did not engage evenly when pulled from the left side of handle. The surface was also not flush with the door of the fridge on the left. It was recessed about 1/2 inch. When I called the service tech he said they are all like that and that I am not the only one as though this is normal. I am writing this review to hopefully trigger a recall on the left track if this is the case. The right side is tight and pulls smoothly. The left pops out half an inch before it engages. Can’t be designed to do this.

Very spacious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge May 2024. So far, it has been very good. I really like the layout of this fridge. It seems much larger than it actually is because of the way the space is arranged. I had a French door 25 cubic foot fridge before this that seemed smaller than this one. The black finish is also much better than my previous stainless steel because it hides fingerprints so much better. The only criticism I have so far is that this fridge runs a bit louder than my old one. I cannot hear it continuously, but for short periods of several minutes throughout the day I can hear it humming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of online searches for best refrigerator and came up with this Whirlpool 22cf bottom freezer. So glad I went with this one. I'd never had a bottom freezer before but I think it's actually better than top freezer. No more stooping down to see what's 'lost' in the back of the bottom shelf. Everything is at eye level and this thing keeps things super cold so i think my food will stay fresher longer. makes ice really fast too. LED lights inside top/bottom make everything very visible so nothing getting lost in there anymore. I highly recommend this one. Looks great in my kitchen too. Upgrade from my 12 year old frigidaire top freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it does the job but lacks refinements. The exterior design of the bottom looks like the unit has feet, instead of a clean bottom panel. The frig door will not stay part way open, it always swings open completely. The freezer door is sticky and does not slide smoothly, even after lubricating. The door shelving has too many small trays and it is hard to get items in and out. The unit shelving is not practical for large items like pizza boxes or cake boxes. The crisper drawers do not slide easily and are small. This unit replaced a LG model which was much more practical and well designed.

Not Happy The Stainless Steel is rusting
I Bought this refrigerator in mid July 2016. By the end of that August both door have developed rust spots. Some of it can be cleaned off. But not completely and what does come off. Comes right back after a week or so. Called it in for a warranty. They are not willing to do the right thing and replace the doors. We do not live by the beach. This is unacceptable for a brand new product. I have owned other Stainless appliances that were many years old that did not require extra special cleaning and maintenance to take care of presting rust spots. The door itself does not look like the floor model. There is extra yellow insulation foam poking out of the edges. Not very appling.

Attractive & Functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. We've had this refrigerator about one month. Noticeable noise when water is filling ice cube maker, but not bad. Large refrigerator space ... lots of room ... door holds a lot of stuff too. Freezer drawer a little awkward, but as I expected. Stuff like frozen vegetable bags are piled into the drawers. I need to figure out a better way to arrange things. Overall, a nice looking refrigerator. I have a narrow refrigerator opening in my kitchen. There is a limited choice in narrow refrigerators. This one fits perfect and does the job.

Great Fridge, Long Wait
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this fridge around Christmas of 2020, It has taken 18 months to get. I understand there are national labor issues, but geez! The fridge has some conection points that are a little sharp, and we did have an initial issue with ice developing along the top edge of the freezer drawer, but after backing the temp setting down, it seems to work fine. Delivery was fine, although the door and drawer needed to come off to get it into the actual kitchen, which the delivery service was unable to do. Other than that the fridge works pretty good, hopefully we get decades of service from it!
