I cannot recommend this appliance
Purchased in August of 2019. Since October, door mechanism would randomly not respond. I discovered that I could pull the door open manually if needed. Starting in November, the door would just randomly pop open. Sometimes while we were in the other room watching TV or even in the middle of the night.
On the 2nd of January, I came home to find the door open again but it would not allow me to close it. The solenoid that pushes the door open was extended and would not retract. After 4 hours we went to bed. On the morning of the 3rd, the solenoid was retracted again.
I'm hoping to be able to return it to the vendor I purchased it from.

Perfect size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this microwave to replace a much larger over the stove unit that quit working. Had always disliked how the large unit restricted access to the back burners of the stove and got hot when we cooked on the stove. We wished that we had not followed the instructions for placement and had mounted it higher. We were a little worried that this unit might look funny or be too small, but have decided it is the perfect size. I looks great with our other appliances, and I love the 30 second timer. It saves time, but takes a couple of minutes to get used to. Overall, very happy with purchase.

heats well, but no user instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this microwave for a week now. So far, we are enjoying it. It heats very well and I have no complaints in that area. I am frustrated however that there are no instructions, so trying to figure out the time and presets is a struggle. The instructions that came with the microwave were basically installation instructions, not user instructions. I have had to try different combinations several times to get the time and power level I want. For now I will just have to play to figure it out. It is expensive for a microwave that is half the size as my previous one and cost almost half as much

Satisfied except for one thing: turntable noise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several weeks ago and I like the low profile and clean design. But the turntable often makes a "bumping rattling" noise as if it is off track. No amount of adjusting fixes it. The gizmo under the glass plate seems cheaply made and does not fit with the technological advances of the rest of the microwave.
Overall I would have given the microwave hood a solid four stars but the noise spoils the the use - almost every time we use it we have to experience that annoying noise. A small thing but a big demotion considering the price we paid.

Replacement for old range hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't previously considered a microwave range hood as they tended to be so big decreasing my view of the range controls and what I was cooking. I also wanted to free up space in my pantry that was being taken up by my countertop microwave. This microwave meets my needs completely in that it is the Low Profile, the ventilation fan (mine is vented to the outside) is like a jet engine with multiple settings. It's a sleek design that goes well in my kitchen. The only thing I would wish for is for the halogen light was much brighter for illuminating the cooktop. But, I solved that issue by installing LED light strips under the wall cabinets.

Perfect solution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just happened to spot this unit at the store and ordered it immediately. In my kitchen, the cabinet over the range is 24" high. Ideally it should have been 18" high to allow adequate room for an over the range microwave and fan unit. Since I cannot find a smaller cabinet that matches the existing cabinets, I was going to just install a range hood fan. This "Low Profile" combination unit fits in under the cabinet and still allows 20" clear space between the range and the microwave. A "perfect Solution."

Size matters
I bought this & will keep this because of the size. Finally a M/W that'll fit where existing cupboards are just to low - designed for a conventional hood. All 3 stars are for the form factor - good job, thanks. As for everything else, not so much. Absolutely the worst installation instructions. Very poor useage instructions. eg - somewhere it should tell you where the start button is, or how to cancel a partially input command. To make it worse, go to the website and on an english page ask for the manual and you'll get spanish only - Ugh. The controls design is for looks, not usefulness. But hey, it applies 1000w of power to my food so that's something.

Love the compactness.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this one month ago and this is my third one. The first rattled when turned on and pressure applied under the control panel stopped the rattling. We returned it. Purchased another. That one would stop heating, could hear the microwave turn on and off. Returned that. This is all in a matter of two days. Purchased a third one. Seemed to be ok. Sounded significantly different and quieter than the previous two. We noticed that when cooking for long periods or using the defrost cycle the hum of the microwave goes on and off. We can no longer return it. Keeping an eye on it.
