[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a little disappointed in this electric range. First of all, it doesn't come with an Owner's Manual, so you're on your own figuring out how everything works. The oven racks are very difficult to slide. It took a while to figure out how the timer works, but when we finally did, we could barely hear the buzzer. We were baking something at 425 degrees and when we touched the top oven surface, it was really, really hot. This never occurred with previous electric ranges. It seems like it might be a manufacturing error. I would never recommend this range to anyone, and regret buying it.

Found one issue after a month of using it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the range for about a month now, and for the most part I like it, however I've discover a quirk that i wasn't aware of before. when I'm heating up oil to fry wings or french fries, the coils all of a sudden cool down about half way through the cooking process. Is this a safety feature ? Is there a way around it, like turning off a sensor ? It is just annoying to have oil cool off and then come back up to temp before continuing the cooking process, especially with wings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coils on the range have a very irritating bell that rings every time they experience any vibration - like setting on a pot, stirring food in a pot, or just walking by. Ring ring ring. Apparently it is a safety feature that keeps a pot from over heating. Not sure why it has to ring.
Even worse, it's brand new and the oven does not work. Temperature is low by at least 50 degrees and won't stay at any temperature - keeps falling after I put food in and I have to keep turning it up.
This is brand new and now I have to waste my time calling for repair.

Almost everything perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reason I purchased this make and model was because of brand reputation as well as ease of functions, you don't have to be an IT genius to figure it out. Elements heat up really fast and evenly.
Would have gotten 5 stars except for 2 things. The rear wall of the bottom drawer could be higher. If I forget and put the wrong pans on top of the others, they fall off and go behind the draw on the floor. The second thing is the center spring loaded sensor on the elements don't clean off if something splashes on them .
However these 2 items really don't affect the functionality of the stove. I really enjoy it.

Second time around was good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the range about 6 weeks ago. Second choice, first choice did not appeal to me once it was installed. No Problem! Made an appointment to look at a different model. A basic, no-frills, do what it has to do range. Other reviews made me pay attention to how pots sat on the new safety designed elements. No big deal! Finally used oven to bake fish. Baked at higher temp, took out at usual cooking time, fish done but not browned as I had hoped. Will get an oven thermometer to check temp calibration! No big deal. Wife likes the warm up feature and buzzer that alerts you to set temp. All in all, I am pleased with this purchase

However, each year I can and preserve our family’s foods o with a range, and I was very Dissapointment in the performance of the energy saving range. Each burner, when turned on “high” to obtain a boil, automatically starts cooling off before it can reach a boil. This process continues throughout cooking UNLESS you spend extra money to purchase regular old fashions burner plates. The so called energy saver actually lengthens electrical use time AND overcooks fruits & foods when processing. This Range is not efficient!

Subpar Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range came with the house we built. This is not the best quality for a brand new range. When cooking something was spilled on the drip pans under the burners and was cleaned when the coil cooled down, the pan never came clean and actually rusted while we tried to clean it. The storage pan on the bottom does not want to stay in the track and takes a lot of work to try and get it back in. The pan is hard to open when you it is installed correctly so basically this is a non used part. We are not impressed and hopefully we will be able to replace it soon.

Just what I wanted in a stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used my new stove for about a month and love it. I have had coil stovetop for 25+ years and when I tried a glass top, well it sucked. My new whirlpool stove heats up fast, boils water fast, and I haven't had any problems so far with the sensor things in the middle of the coils. I wish there were more stainless steel like on the stovetop surface but I am happy overall with that part. Digital is easy to read and I like the blue clock digits. The bottom drawer needs a better handle/grip but is sufficient. The oven is big and I have even baked rolls and they turned out great.
