So Far, So Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit that I was a little leery of purchasing a washer without an central agitator. I had never used a machine without one before. I am quite pleased with the cleaning results I have achieved thus far. Everything I have put in has come out very clean. I really like the see-through lid and it has a lot of options you can program to customize the washing cycle for every kind of load. I had a very narrow space where my prior washer and dryer were installed and finding an appliance that fit the space was extremely problematic. This unit fit perfectly. I'm content with my purchase.

Good Basic Equipment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this from All-Star Appliance in Waterbury at a price higher than I could have purchased on the internet. Service was a big priority and the guys did a great job with the delivery and would have completely installed it if my plumbing was ready to go.
I was using this equipment for about a month when if failed during a spin cycle. My retailer was there the next morning to confirm that a control panel needed replacing. They ordered one immediately and had it quickly installed after it arrived on backorder. The repair guy also fixed the dryer door that was hard to close; he fixed the latch and its fine now
Its been working excellent ever since.

Efficient and simple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a small size machine it's surprisingly capable of getting a fair amount of work done in a short amount of time. Dryer is more efficient than expected for its size. Washer appears to get things pretty clean. Have put some pretty dirty/greasy work clothes through it and they came out well. No agitator was a preference because the older ones like this were very hard on clothes in such a small washer but had concern the impeller type would not clean well. Seems fine so far. One drawback is that it's not a very quiet machine so keep your location in mind if you cannot partition it off from common areas.

DO NOT ORDER FROM WHIRLPOOL
I ordered a fridge and washer and dryer from whirlpool and it took FOUR deliveries (over a week in between orders) because they were delivered damaged! Three broken fridges and finally the fourth one worked...we were out a working fridge for weeks. The FOURTH washer and dryer they delivered was damaged then out of stock. This company is the biggest joke and biggest waste of my time. Their customer service line is a two hour wait every time to reorder AND at the end of the day they did NOTHING to fix the mess they caused. DO NOT ORDER FROM WHIRLPOOL.

Perfect size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We opted for the smaller apartment size stacking unit for our townhouse, our laundry is located up 2 flights of stairs so this was a lightweight compact solution for hard to get to laundry in a tight space. It fits easily a queen sized sheet set with pillow cases which was our main concern about the size, we even washed our queen quilt (I don't think a comforter will fit) It's a little loud on the spin cycle otherwise relatively quiet. It came with all the necessary hardware and already stacked so all we had to do was attach the venting and plug it in. It only has the one plug for both units.

Gift for My Wife...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I might have made a mistake. The Washer / Dryer combo has great looks and seems to function as described. I think it important to share the following concerns: The washer lid is very heavy and held open by a magnet. You must hold it with one hand as you close it. If you let go, make sure your hands are clear of the opening or you will experience the pain of it falling on you. Please be aware that both the water level and the drying time are automatic. We are experimenting on how to control this attribute better. We now keep the instruction book handy because the Washer / Dryer instructions are underneath the washer lid. You have to get on your knees to read them (see photo). Crazy.It would be nice to have a dryer alarm to alert you for no-iron clothes.

Very happy with this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this washing machine and dryer for a couple of weeks and I'm very happy with it so far. I bought it to replace full sized machines. I was working with a very limited budget and space was also limited. This seemed like the best option. I live by myself so this small washing machine and dryer will work for me. I've had to make some adjustments in smaller more frequent loads, but have been happy with it. Water usage is excellent which is important to me. I hope they hold up well. My last washing machine and dryer lasted over 20 years which I think is a miracle.

I was initially a bit dubious as I had a 30 year old kenmore agitator which still worked fine but needed a smaller unit for my tiny kitchen so I went with this compact unit. It has taken some getting used to smaller capacity but that’s to be expected. I was worried water level would not be sufficient but it has so far. Washer roils the clothes vigorously…. As long as I don’t overfill her. She will wash a 60x80 light blanket but that is max… full set of sheets works fine too. No regrets at all… don’t know if she will last 30 years, though. I named her Whirly 🤣
