Terrible - doesn't dry
I've had this dryer in my brand new house for 2 months. I've had 3 service calls in the last 3 weeks. The dryer doesn't dry clothes. They say it is my vent. Even though the vent is brand new. And exceeds recommendations of " proper venting" in the owners manual. I can see from other reviews that this is a known problem. I sure hope the make it right and send a new dryer. To make sure it wasnt my vent I had my HVAC tech come out and check it - then also ran it directly outside with a 4" vent pipe. The error message still came on within minutes of being turned on. There was ample air coming out of the vent. This needs to be foxed or replaced.

Very disappointing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer seems to work ok but when I called to register, I found out, I had to buy warranty because every aspect of the dryer had a reason that it's probably the user's fault when it fails and wouldn't be covered under the warranty that I thought I had. Very disappointed that Whirlpool has become this type of company, immediately after you purchased, they're making excuses if something happens it's probably the user's fault. It was a mistake to to buy a Whirlpool washer and dryer. I paid a lot of money for these appliances to find out that I don't believe Whirlpool will stand behind them.

I’m not sure about this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had these since 8/7/25. Cycles are easy to program. The washer cannot handle 3 queen sheets without getting all marked up enough to have to stop machine & disentangle. I am not one who overloads a washer but THREE SHEETS only? I am in my 70’s so I’ve had several washer & dryer sets over the years. This is my first Whirlpool set. It is the NOISIEST washer I’ve had! I don’t think I’d buy another. Whirlpool microwave ovens.have been good for us, no other experience with other Whirlpool products. I am never abusive with appliances in my house. I keep them clean & take care of them.

Gets the job done!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice dryer with exception capacity. Really like the connectivity. Nice to be notified wen you load is finished. We have the accompanying washer with the same feature. Keeps the task moving. REALLY don’t like the fact that it defaults to the eco program which adds a bunch of time to the cycle? How is that eco friendly?.?.? I usually just do the time cycle. 35-40 mins and even large loads are dry. Nice look and the window on the door is a nice feature. I would rate 5/5 except for the eco cycle. But they probably have regulations that make necessary so Whirlpool probably isn’t to blame.

Stopped working after a week.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our whirlpool washer and dryer at the end of July. I was able to use it for a week before it stopped working. It has been over two months and we still have not been able to use it (it’s now the end of September) due to how difficult it has been to get warranty service.our appointment is scheduled for October 1st (as this was the earliest they were able to schedule me) I regret purchasing this washer. I have not even been able to use it enough to properly rate it. But with a toddler, having to wash everything by hand, it was definitely not worth the price for a week of laundry.

Enjoying this purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the dryer. I like the multiple drying options and that there is also a timed dry. I like that it alerts you if you need to rearrange large blankets. The only drawback is that the top of the dryer is not completely flat. I suppose that is good because nothing should be be stored on top of a dryer. Drys clothes quickly. Enjoying having the door open out. Easy to get clothes in without them falling on the floor. This does put off a little more heat than our old dryer, but the multi opens are a great benefit. Child safe in that you have to hold the start button for 3 seconds to start.

Good overall with a couple caveats

I have to set the dryer to "more dry" or the clothes are still a little damp when the dryer shuts off.
The alert sound for when the dryer shuts off is nowhere loud enough. I've set the sound to max but it'd still not loud enough.
I wish I could customize the alarm in the Whirlpool app on my phone to be a different sound. The Whirlpool app uses the system setting for notifications and a lot of apps on my phone use this sound. I would like to set the notification to a custom sound so I could know when the dryer is done.

Too bad it does not dry the clothes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super nice machine - except the clothes are never dry. This dryer is one week old. Delivered and installed with all new accessories, vent hose clamps, etc. Our laundry room is on an outside wall, so the interior vent only runs 30". Vent is completely clean. Hose is not kinked or blocked. Air flow to the outdoors is excellent. Dryer will run for 90 minutes and a medium size load of clothing will still be very damp. Have tried running with or without Ecoboost. There is no excuse for a brand new dryer struggling to dry a moderate load of clothing in 90 minutes.
