Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Kamado King
This Kamado is exactly what I have been looking for. It is very versatile. I primarily use it for smoking, but it does a great job for grilling too. It is super-efficient and I love that I never have to add more fuel in the middle of a long cook. Weber's Customer Service was amazing from start to finish of my purchase. Thank you, Duane! The grill was delivered in perfect condition. Not a single scratch. It was very well packaged. It took me about 40 minutes to set up, but I took my time and was very careful not to over-torque or cross-thread any bolts. The grilling center is very sturdy and is high-quality. Weber hit a home run with this Kamado grilling center.

Best Grill I've ever owned.... Storage is lacking
Before addressing the negative, I will say that this is far and away the best grill/smoker I have ever owned. The versatility of the grill itself is amazing. I've had it for a little over a month and there isn't anything that doesn't turn out incredibly good.
My only knock is on the storage space available under the S6 table. I understand the wire racks offer the greatest flexibility, but it would be nice to have 'options' for drawer storage vs. a flimsy stainless rack & drawer. I would love to be able to store accessories behind closed doors when not in use to keep the entire cooking area neat and clean. You do this for your gas grills... why not for the Kamado?

Love my Weber Kamado!
Weber made a great quality product with this Kamado. I have used the standard Weber kettle before but for long cooks it is challenging to control the temperature. This Kamado grill takes the kettle to a different level - the temperatures are super stable, and the Kamado is super efficient on fuel for long smokes. I have done 8 hour smokes without needing to refuel. The build quality is great. I love the S6 station for prep area, for storage, and for it's gas ignition system. The gas ignition makes it a lot faster and easier to light the coals, which I really appreciate. Saves some work! All in all really happy with the Summit S6!

Reliable, high quality, holds heat beautifully
I bought this as a housewarming gift to myself three years ago and have used it almost weekly since. It replaced my smoker and old grill. With the addition of the Spider Venom fan controller, this grill will hold 225 for 20+ hours and still have fuel left. The propane starter clogged up due to my own lack of cleaning, but I use the wax cubes anyway. With a Vortex, you'll make the best wings you've ever had, and sear your meats beautifully.
And the best thing about this grill is that all you need is lit charcoal. No motors, no propane, no electricity. If you can light a fire, you can cook.

No regrets
Only grilled on it a couple of times but the food was awesome from this grill. Super efficient with charcoal. Wanted a grill I could smoke on and use as an every day grill. Was concerned about the price but believe this grill will be the last one I ever need to buy. Very well built and heavy duty compared to other grills. Only problem was with sliding basket under table was difficult to open/close. A little lubricant took care of that. Love it so far and even though it was expensive I have a great grill for a lifetime that won't crack like other Kamado grills and is easy to move. Also like the fact that replacement parts are available if needed

Poor Design and Manufacturing
The propane charcoal starting device needs to be re-engineered. The igniter on mine failed in less than two years. Recently, the propane regulator also failed a little after two years and the replacement igniter failed again. The location of the propane flame is too low and should be closer to where the charcoal is located. After 3 years of use substantial rust has formed on the leg areas. Finally, one of the grilling rods on the grill surface has separated from the rest of the grill due to a poor weld. Given all of these issues, The Summit Charcoal Grilling Center is greatly overpriced. DON'T BUY IT unless you are willing to accept all of the above problems and probably other long-term issues.

Homer run bbq.
As an owner of three Big Green Eggs it was hard to make a different choice for a vacation home, but the reviews were compelling and I am not sorry I made the decision to buy a Summit. It is an absolute miser on fuel, lump or briquettes. Temperature management is great and the stainless steel table is really helpful. Indirect whole chickens low and slow smoked chuck, ribeye steaks, pork butt. It does it all perfectly. The optional cover fits perfectly and the drawer under the table is great for storing gloves, lighters grill grippers etc. The Summit has taken pride of place over my BGEs. It is a brilliant Kamado grill, and did I say it was incredibly flexible with so many set up options. Kudos to Weber; you hit it out of the park.

I am deeply in love
"A Weber Kamado kettle? Are you serious?"
This was my thought after I decided that my love for grilling justified a major monetary expenditure. And, yes, this thing will cost, but doesn't love always cost is some ways?
It is simply brilliant. I holds Temps like a boss and it reaches astronomical temps in a heartbeat. Plus, it is just plain fun. It's like a jeep. You can add all kinds of ingenious accessories (I have the wok, the pizza stone, the searing rack, and that electronic grilling center) and your grill buds will get a serious case of grill envy.
It is big, but the more of it there is the more there is to love.
