Very pleased with my decision.
I had been researching Kamado style smokers for a while but once I saw the New E6 my decision was made. Just got this about a month ago and LOVE IT! As someone new to smoking this grill makes life much easier, especially like how easy the temperature control is. If my first rack of ribs is any indication I am going to love this. I also forgot how much better charcoal grilling is.
My legs were mislabeled as well but I took a chance and swapped them out - a little annoying but not that big a deal.
Love that Weber sent me a free cookbook with the grill good marketing. My 19 year old Genesis Gas Grill is feeling neglected.

Temperature control
Temperature control is something you really have to get used to. That is affected a lot by quantum, type, and placement of fuel - as well as airflow. It has been difficult to nail down, but all in all it has been a good experience. I do not feel confident leaving it unattended for long smokes, that has been a major transition coming from an electric model. I bought a MEATER+ to go with it, but I am considering getting an aftermarket air circulation unit too. It’s thought to hit the “sweet spot” and keep it stable without heat creep. But the flavoring and flexibility is huge, especially working in tandem with my Genesis gas grill next to it.

Great Smoker/Grill
I have enjoyed using my E6 for both smoking and grilling. I find it easy to maintain a low smoking temperature and the flavor is much better than my old pellet grill. It is a vastly superior grill to a pellet grill as well. I very much like that it is not ceramic and the clean out is easy. One small item, I find it difficult to replace the ash holder. Seems like it would be easy to improve that feature. Again, small issue. Overall, easy to use and great tasting food.

Mostly I like it, but a few tweeks wouldn't hurt
I bought this because I prefer Kamado smoking and grilling over my Pellet or offset. I needed to be able to cook larger cooks, like two turkey's. My 18 inch just can't do that. I have done the turkey, ribs, and 1.5 inch cut pork steaks. I am still getting used to the vent setings but was adle to hold temp easily. Accept when opening the lid the vent moves under its own weight, please increase its resistance if Weber is reading this. Last thing I am used to more head space between the charcoal and heat deflector, I think I would have to add more charcoal for a long cook like pork butt or brisket. I love the size and it is well built.

Cooking nirvana has arrived
With over 31 years of Weber grilling experience, I can say hands down this is THE best Weber bbq I've ever owned. It does everything in one single, easy to use grill. Owning my E6 now for 3 months, I've seared proteins at over 1050°F, cooked direct, indirect, smoked hot and fast, low and slow, cold smoke and the E6 outperforms and single handedly manages everything I can throw at it. The E6 has replaced my smoker (WSM 18") and gas grill (Summit S670) for all my cooks; seared salmon, whole packer briskets, racks of ribs, pork roasts, steaks, kabobs, vegetables, pizzas, burgers, sausages, chickens, wings, hot dogs, fish, shrimp, lobsters; you name it and this grill has seen and can cook it right. And the flavor that comes through from smoking or even using different charcoals make food taste better than restaurant quality. If you're looking for that all around all-star player, I highly recommend you consider the Weber Kamado E6. It's worth every penny and then some.

This thing is a tank. I was one of the initial purchasers back in Nov/Dec. Then the excellent Weber customer service (Duane) replaced it with the new beefier stand. It’s so easy to cook with everything has come out amazing. The only downside is I’m not using my other kettles anymore. They are getting jealous

The Charcoal Grill I ALWAYS wanted
This grill is heavy duty, solid, easy to assemble and has great temperature control! Relocating it is simple with the lockable casters, and it stays solidly in place! It comes with charcoal baskets a heat deflector plate and a gourmet BBQ system ready grill grate with the sides that fold up to add coals! I LOVE this grill and highly recommend it to any other BBQ enthusiasts!

Summit Kamado E6
I've had this grill for 5 years now and my problem isn't with the grill as it works wonderfully and maintains temperature like a pro. My issue is with the poor design of the caster wheels; the front wheel in particular. The stem is poorly designed and after some wear and tear, the wheel collapses making it impossible to move. More frustrating is the lack of resources to get the wheel and stem replaced. I expected better from Weber when it comes to replacement parts for this product but it seems like they don't stock many. I'm hoping someone from the Customer Care team will reach out to me some assistance.
