The Performer is the perfect kettle for me. I needed the shelf, but did not have the space in my grilling area for a larger Performer Deluxe. I have been grilling 50+ years, but I never have had a kettle grill. The Performer exceeds my expectations in temp control, quality build, and flexibility.

Met and exceeded all expectations. I was skeptical of the flip up grill to add more charcoal. Thought it was a gimmick. Tried it once and wow it saved my bbq. I love it that this model has the flip up shelf and undercarriage shelf. Get it, you won't regret it!

This is our second Weber kettle and it works exactly as we expected - which is to say very well. Our first one didn't have the folding table and it is really handy. I didn't give it 5 stars because the ash pot mount and release mechanism is clumsy and could have been engineered to work more easily.

I have owned Weber all my life. This the most efficient Weber charcoal BBQ I have ever owned. Ver y convenient using LP Gas to light up the charcoal. Also the prep area is a great add to this product.

The materials used in the construction of the grill are high quality, which explains the higher price. However, I find it a bit inconvenient to use. Having the lid be something you can completely lift off is a bit dangerous and inconvenient as you have to be careful when laying it on its side.

I have owned Webers for over 30 years. However, the quality of this unit is awful, the bottom tray comes off every time you move the grill. Do not buy this model, you will be frustrated.

Very nicely crafted grill. Assembly was very straight forward; machine screws went into metal inserts. Things fit together nicely and material all feels sturdy. If I was offered any improvement I wanted, the only thing I could think of might be a handle for pulling/moving around.

The grill assembly required 2 people for part of it (putting on the side table) but it was not difficult. I love this grill because I now have knobs to put my grill utensils and the side table to put a plate. I have a small deck and this grill is the perfect size.
