For the record, I think Wacom has some of the best creative tools on the market. If you’re doing any creative project where precision and efficiency are necessary, then you owe it to yourself to look into at least one of these wonderful products.
What can I say about the cintiq 22hd that has not already been said. This thing is awesome. I came from a huion 190gt which works good, but the wacom cintiq 22hd is on a whole level of professional above any other brand. There is a reason professional studios use wacom.
I underestimated this tablet! -I've been using an Intuos 3 Wacom tablet for the past 6 years and never gave much importance to the thought of a Cintiq. Well, was I mistaken! I'm a digital illustration student, use Photoshop and Corel Painter, and record the process using Camtasia.
Wacom has a virtual monopoly on pen tablets designed for art production, but they do a fine job of designing and executing on their products. I believe the 22HD is all you really need as a digital artist, The screen is large enough to get your work down with large sweeping strokes.
I cannot compare this Pen Display to competitive brands as it is the only one which I have had any experience. Having said that the Cintiq 22HD Pen Display is a pleasure to use. The 16 different programmable (individually by application) is a feature worth the price by itself.
I decided to upgrade from my Wacom Intuos 5 tablet to the Cintiq 22HD and I have no regrets! While the Intuos was great, I always felt there was a disconnect between my hand-eye coordination since I was drawing on my desk and looking at my screen.
