REVIEW – Within just a few weeks, I’ve graduated from my old Intuos 3 drawing tablet to the new Intuos Pro tablet and now to this: the Wacom Cintiq 16 display tablet. Reviewing the Cintiq 16 has left me with two differing opinions.

Build quality, Pro Pen 2 included, Screen quality is good despite that it’s not Wacom’s best, Sensible cable management
These days pen computing is pretty popular. All except one of the big computing platforms; Windows, Chrome OS, Android, iOS, Linux; have added stylus pen interface support and have attempted to do some catering towards the creative professional.
I have an iPad Pro, but wanted something with a bigger drawing size that worked with my MacBook Pro. I tried another brand pen display and was disappointed, but Wacom released this one about a week later. Drawing on the Cintiq 16 feels natural and the 1080p resolution feels fine on the 15.6 screen.
This is an affordable Cintiq that looks great, feels great and works smoothly. There is no lag and you barely notice any parallax. As far as HD versus 4K I think that becomes more of an issue with the larger Cintiq monitors. The set up is super easy and I was drawing within minutes.
I am a first time user of the Cintiq, and it is just great! I have tried to use an Intuos before and never could get the hang of it. With the Cintiq I am able to use it as easily as using paper and pencil. It is a great unit.
Great device, I have been drawing with my 12 inches iPad and I needed something more capable. I love the screen and the paper feel. Overall an excellent product.
Had it for about a month now. It definitely beats the 13hd. I use it for traditional animation and it works flawlessly. Would recommend for first time cintiq buyers
