I hate this thing, it stopped having the ability to mount for more than a few minutes after about a year of use. I ve been making it work the best I can but it's unmounts on its own for no reason and it's super annoying. Im gonna trash it. DO NOT BUY.
I've never used a refurb drive before as I am leary about trusting having sensitive data on one, so I got this as a trial, and only for day to day use, not as a back up drive per se. So far so good, only time will tell!
Filled it full of my music and films for going on holiday so I could watch on TV or computer. Only thing to watch out for is how you format it. There is a file size limit for FAT32, but many TV's and other devices won't work with ExFAT.
Its OK with my computer but will not work with my LG TV. I checked with LG and its their fault. They do not support anything over 1TB. Wish I'd checked this before I bought the w2TB but its great for PC backup anyway.
Use this for my xbox x, love it.
Use for quarterly backups. No reason to complain.
I've had this for a few years and use it frequently for film school. It has proven durable, though the cable will need routine replacement.
Love it. Sturdy and holds a ton of pictures and movies.
This product died just about 16 months after I purchased it. I wouldn't call that a very good lifespan for a hard drive.
This is not a cheap item and stopped working less than 2 years after I bought it and I'm not happy! There's also no comeback by the look of things, so I'll have to contact the manufacturer.
