Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Great Product !
I work from a home office thats located in a bouns room over the garage. My AC is one zone, if the AC is not on a lot (80 degree day) it gets very warm in the office due to the lack of circulation. Adding another AC zone is crazy expensive, and window units are not allowed. I placed my fan at the bottom of my stairway on a landing, set it on low which is plenty of circulation without any noise. I also like the fact that it pulls air in from the sides not the back so I can keep it closer to the wall at the landing level which is only a few steps from the first floor level. Thanks Vornado the 660 is great for my application!

Awesome product with a beautiful look!
I purchased this for my grandparents because they wanted a new fan for their living room. I convinced them that Vornado was only option out there when it comes to circulators because they are definitely top of the line without the top of the line price. We got this circulator in earlier this summer and what a difference it makes. The circulator is virtually silent and has multiple speeds to choose from. We absolutely love it and they agreed there is nothing better than Vornado. The fan itself in in a beautiful piano black finish with a polished chrome slide to adjust the angle of the fan.

creates a breeze throught the entire room
I was in the market for a fan during the summer heat since my generic off the shelf fan wasnt cutting it. I did some research and read a few reviews which lead me to the vornado. i chose the 660 and I loved the 4 electronic button settingds rather than the three standard on conventional fans. First impression was HO BAH! I could feel the breeze from across the room. I was convinced. What was a bummer was it wasnt an oscillating fan. Dont be fooled though. I was laying in bed with the fan pointed away in another direction and still felt the air circulating around me. Im still amazed as how this fan does it. It catches me off guard every time i walk through the house and feel a breeze and the fan is pointed elsewhere.

My fourth purchase of a Vornado. I love them.
In the summer I use the vornado 24/7. It really helps keep you cool without blowing everything in the room around. I have a smaller Vornado that I use at my computer in another room and bought one for my mom to use in her bedroom. She is 94 and loves it. The very first Vornado I purchased was used until it wore out. Had to replace it right away. The fan would slow down for long periods of time and then start up again. I had used it 24/7 for several summers and it made me sick when it gave out. But the remaining three that I purchased are going strong and are wonderful.

Moves air
I have this unit in the corner shooting air across the room to opposite corner to distribute AC. At min setting, I can feel the airflow in the opposite corner (20 feet) without any sound at all. The only two negatives: - I expected a more solid base. It's thin, cheap plastic. My unit sits on a granite countertop surface will easily rotate when touching the controls so I have to hold onto the unit. Massive design flaw: - There are 5 buttons on the unit: ON/OFF - full, high, medium, low. You can't go from an OFF state to low. You must hit the ON button first which turns unit on full blast and then hit LOW. Seems trivial that they could have had OFF->low state with one button push bypassing the full blast initial state.

Great circulator; nightmare to clean
I bought this as my 8th Vornado fan in 20 years (for home, office, and family). The first 7 were so great, as good as a ceiling fan, and so simple to clean, that it didn't occur to me that Vornado might have designed an inferior model. This is that one inferior model. Whereas all the previous models I'd purchased took literally minutes to clean by pressing on tabs to remove the exterior grate, the 660 requires disassembly to remove screws, and after the the grate doesn't come off easily. I ended up squeezing my hadn't inside a space I pried open after taking out the screws, and could only do an inadequate clean. Its movement up and down also is restricted. This is a bad model, built without the customer's ease of use in mind.

Looks great, works great.
I bought this fan as a wedding gift for my niece about a year ago and finally bought one for myself. First it has a very nice feature of a sliding adjustment to choose the direction of air flow. Change the direction from horizontal to vertical flow, and of course any where between with a touch of your hand. The controls are also easily accessed at the top of the fan. When this fan is on low, it is the most quiet fan I have ever used. I have bought a few vornados over the years. I have never been disappointed. This one is no exception.

Beast mode
Just ordered this large fan, works amazingly too well, I can feel the breeze now and it helps circulate the A/C around the large family room. Savings in AC are going to be great, i noticed my A/C unit isn't on all the time anymore. Living in NYC with A/C window units gets expensive and the good circulation helps not only cool the room, but to keep power costs down. This is the coolest fan, only quirk, is the power button, i wish it either didn't have one or was physical. Nowadays, everyone is hooking up their equipment to electronic timers to remotely control and time when the device operates. My older fan i have set to start circulating air an hour before i arrive home. Regardless, life aint perfect, and this is the greatest fan I've owned, looking forward to getting my next model (Tower Series).
