The compact and lightweight Voigtlander 15mm F4.5 Super Wide Heliar is an excellent ultra-wide-angle prime lens that delivers great image quality. Shooting at the maximum f/4.5 aperture does reveal a very minor reduction in sharpness in the centre of the frame, but this is quickly resolved by...
Good lens but seems not perform well an Adapter, even the adpater is a very expensive one. Around aperture 11, it is good. But sometimes around the very open aperture such as 4.5, the image quality degradation is quite noticeable.
Five stars all the way. My previous main ultrawide prime for Leica M was the Zeiss ZM 18mm Distagon. Unfortunately that lens wasn't outstanding when adapted to Sony E-Mount, so I sold it and looked for alternatives.
Great little lens. Solidly built and smooth to operate. Using it on a Sony A7Rii with VM-E Close Focus Adapter and so far the results are super!
I bright this lens to be used with my Leica M240 & Sony A7rII with an adapter, Love this lens, super sharp and great optical quality.
Nice little lens. Sharp but vignettes a bit but that's easy to fix in postproduction.
Brilliant for those wide landscapes, but you need foreground interest to tie it all together. In good light the pictures have a bright appeal - it's difficult to articulate that. The shots just seem brighter, and have more clarity of the camera.

Quite sharp across the frame, though distant stuff does look a bit mushy compared to close and middle distance. I personally dislike the fixed "petal" hood; shame you cant remove it.

What an improvement over the mark 2. This Mk3 Sony version blows all other full format super-wide lenses into the weeds. Including Zeiss!!!Flare and fringing are very well controlled and images are sharp everywhere.
