This is a very nice monitor with crisp high quality definition. The size is nice and I love the ability to swivel and rotate the monitor if I set up a multi-monitor situation. I was a little bummed that it didn't include DVI input (since one of my machines has a DVI out but not an HDMI out) but I...
This monitor has excellent build quality, a nice image, and every feature you could want. -Great inputs - DP, HDMI, and VGA -Fully-adjustable stand. Can tilt, rotate, and height-adjust. -IPS panel which is good for general computing tasks. Gamers might prefer a panel with lower response time though.
Great monitor easy to install in seconds everything snaps together and the screw on the bottom has a handle so you don't need a screw driver. Love all the ports in the back can hook one laptop up using the HDMI and an older Thinkpad with the VGA cable (sold separately).
I don't think the colors and contrast are as nice as the older monitor this replaced. For an affordable, feature rich monitor of this format I find it very acceptable. Maybe not the best choice for photo editing. Easy to set up and figure out. The sound from the speakers is weak.
I’ve been using the Viewsonic VG2448 ergonomic monitor for about a week now and I’m very pleased with it. The set up was quite simple. I usually read written directions, but this time I watched an unboxing video on YouTube. Pretty simple.
Versa stand. Thin bezels and great IPS picture. Can recommend.
Don't have cable or dish, so I got this to try out as an alternate to having a tv monitor. Can't even hook it up properly to my tv box and the options that are professed to exist, don't; despite the specs I can't even shunt it from either of my laptops as an alternate. Don't bother.
so far so good. What I like about this monitor is the depth. The colors are very good. I have mine in portrait mode.
If you haven't been paying attention, good quality desktop computer monitors have gotten a lot cheaper in recent years. A few years ago, IPS displays were way too expensive for most home users, so we settled for TN displays that had poorer contrast, poorer color reproduction, and poorer viewing...
I'm using this monitor as a secondary monitor for my iMac 27". It really doesn't compare to the big retina display on the iMac, but I didn't expect it to since the resolution is just 1080P.
