Vanguard Up-Rise II 46 Photo Backpack

Just wish it had more pockets for holding the things that I am transferring from a Lowepro. Having to rely on Ziplocks :-( The inside of the cover for the main compartment looks to be able to easily accommodate secured pockets!!! Missed opportunity.

Bought this a gift for my partner who's new business required a lot of on-sight photography. He was delighted with it as it meant he could carry all of his equipment in one bag. The tripod strap and easy access side opening are great features on this product!

Good quality day bag for the £85 asking price. Few points stop it being 5 stars. Can't carry a drinks bottle in the external carrier if your carrying a tripod. The tripod mount does not seem strong / secure enough if your carrying a heavier tripod (bought some extra straps).

Bag is extremely robust and feels well made. My camera (Canon 7D) is also fitted with a battery grip and sits well inside it without the need for unzipping the extending part. Given the height of my camera, it also just about comes out of the quick access side.

Haven't put this through its paces yet as have bought for a safari holiday in a few weeks. I bought a couple of bags previously and returned both, but was extremely happy with this one. It ticks the boxes of space, ease of access, feature, comfort and a nice design!
