Vanguard 8x32 Endeavor ED II Binocular

I’ve had an opportunity to look through several Endeavor ED binoculars and every time my impressions have been very positive. I wanted to include the 8x42 model into our endurance test but, because of the change of the Polish distributor, I didn’t manage to get that device.

  solid casing,, slight astigmatism,, good coma correction,, not very bothersome chromatic aberration,, low distortion,, negligible brightness loss on the edge of the field of view,, sharp image for most of the field of view,, good quality BaK-4 glass prisms,, proper darkening of the binoculars inside...

  noticeably truncated exit pupils.

I am happy to find out that these little binoculars have excellent optical qualities. I purchased them for my wife due to their size for theatre and sporting events, thinking they would be fine. I normally use a nearly $3,000 pair of Swarovski's for birdwatching.

Very bright, clear, and compact, well made, excellent binoculars. I can attach the soft case that came with it to carry these binoculars on my belt so they don't bang against the camera hanging around my neck.

For Bird Watching these are the best binoculars I have ever looked through. I have tested all makes but even the most expensive are no better. I expect they will never need to be replaced by me in my lifetime as the build quality is beautiful.
