  The ridiculously cheap Vizio V-Series offers solid image quality in some models, thanks to local dimming. It supports the latest 4K and HDR video formats, including Dolby Vision. Chromecast built-in works well if you like using your phone to control streaming.

  Similarly cheap Roku TVs aren't much far behind in image quality and much better overall for streaming. Many V-Series models have inferior display technology.

First of all, the TV picture quality is great, overall we really liked the TV. However the fact that you can not download apps outside of the ones that are included is ridiculous in this market. I dont want to have to Chromecast through my phone.

I really like this TV however it does take a little bit of getting used to and it’s very hard linking the TV to the Google Mini speaker so you can use the commands to control the tv but other than that all the other features are great including the airplay and Built-in chromecast.

Love this TV, have never owned a smart TV, this one is great, love the picture, sound, just love everything about it. Very happy with this TV.

Impressive picture quality and sound. Connection to wi-fi was easy. Apps are great. For the price this is a great TV. Perfect for bedroom or study.

Picture is good. Sound quality was "tinnee" . The remote buttons were very small and icons hard to read.

This television was an awesome deal; perfect for my daughter's bedroom!

This is my first Vizio tv -I upgraded from a 10 year old 32" 1080HD. It is for a small TV den we sit about 7-8' away from the TV so the 40" size is perfect- any larger would be too much out of scale to the room and my viewing. There is not a large selection of 40" 4k HDR sets out there.

I live 2 miles from Target, so when our bedroom tv went out, I just ran over to Target to pick up Vizio V405-G9. Price was right. I have Vizios in my spare bedrooms, so I wanted to get a 40” for the master.

Bought this for my daughter. She loves it! It was a gift for her 13th birthday. She did the setup on her own. She loves the app features
