For more than a year, I put up with the crappy headset that came with my PlayStation 4 . It was the gaming headset equivalent of those terrible $5 Gumy earbuds you see hanging by the dozen in Walmart. Sometimes, I couldn’t hear my friends at all, and my microphone cut out so many times I lost count.

  Fully wireless, comfortable, clear sound. Surround sound and other modes are fun to try. Battery life is outstanding at around 15 hours. Great for players who wear glasses. Xbox One version is dongle-free.

  Installing firmware updates takes some effort. Superhuman Hearing mode won’t give you the noticeable edge it promises. Fabric on cups is comfortable, but leather still feels cushier.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 are adequate for wireless gaming. They have a pretty comfortable fit, so they shouldn't cause a lot of fatigue during long gaming sessions. We tested the PS4 variant, but you can buy an Xbox One variant too.

  Turtle Beach's signature sound has gotten way better over the years, and these sound quite good; construction of the headset seems solid, despite being all plastic; great feature set, and the EQ settings are genuinely useful; replaceable earpads; I love how plug and play these are

  Fabric pads are a bit hard and uncomfortable for my larger noggin and ears; I wish there was a place to put the transmitter; my USB transmitter's USB connector came apart; made with all plastic outside of the padding

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 is a simple, affordable wireless gaming headset with great battery life, great audio, and a stellar microphone. It doesn't have many frills, but far more expensive gaming headsets don't nail the fundamentals this well.

So, what’s my bottom line here? I think Turtle Beach hit a home run with the STEALTH 600 headset. The first thing that comes to mind is the price. Based on previous and current pricing for wireless gaming headsets, the STEALTH 600 is great at $99.95.

Can not turn down chat volume like other models, it turns up or down you hearing your own voice.. the battery life is good but it can randomly lose connection to the receiver and sometimes will not even connect, the sound is good BUT everyone says I am very quiet and hard to hear with this...

Great headphones! Easy connection and set up via the instructions provided. Connects to my laptop easily for any setting or updates. Wireless feature hooked straight up to my Xbox one console. I like the fact that you can turn down the in game voice and turn up the in game sound.

Good all around headset. Has 4 preset sound settings. The "bass boost" setting can cause popping on aleady bass heavy games, but the main "signature sound" setting will sound awesome with no harmonic distortion or overload popping on pretty much any game.

Headphones work great, love them, the microphone is very sensitive it pick up background sound and my breathing

They sound amazing absolutely only thing is in this day and age of games you need individual sound control for a lot of FPS shooters which this doesn’t have so if you don’t care it’s a good headset but the mic is super quiet on the other end as well

not worth it at all the box says about it having great volume where u should be able to hear anything in the games. my husband says they are nice but he cant play his favorite game with them because the volume does not get loud enough like they said it would. completely disappointed
