I have used this lens for 1 year on a Nikon D5200 now. Great lens For the D5200, it is strickly manual focus. I have recently upgraded my Nikon D5200 to a Nikon D7100; and low and behold, the auto-focusing feature works like a champ, it is lightnning fast.
I bought this product a few weeks ago for use with my Canon 7D crop body camera which I use for shooting in-water surf photography. After reading all the previous reviews it seemed that this would be the best fit and it hasn't dissapointed.
Nice lens, good light and good quality. Just one problem, and it really stupid, I dont understand how the miss it. The lens cap has nothing to attach to the lens rather than a very soft magnetic, nos swithm neither a slot for a grip. You have to be care because it will fell down easily
Compared to a pro series canon fisheye -has a better MTF chart -less than half the price -minimal loss being 10-17 vs.canon 8-15 being a specialty lens for an active photographer, this hoodless version for my 6D's (and other full frame cameras)is perfect.
Purchased this lens a while back and just started using more. Great color reproduction and very sharp images. Very fast focusing too. Highly recommend this lens.
Very fast and precise automatic focus, sharp results also a really good construction and material.

I decided to buy this lens for my FX format D750 instead of the 15mm Sigma fisheye, even though the Sigma is about one f-stop faster, because (a) an on-line review comparing the two lenses found that image quality was comparable--both produce very good images, especially at higher f-stop/smaller...
I bought this lens and went to Hawaii. I had so much fun shooting the flora of the state. Beautiful photos. I was nervous about buying a knock off lens but I'm not disappointed!
Initially I had mixed feelings about opting for this lens vs. the Canon 15mm fisheye lens; however, amidst some great user reviews, I decided to purchase. Glad I made that decision. Photos are super-sharp. 17mm fisheye provides one of the widest point of views out there.
