The KBGT does everything I expected it to do at this price. The design is simple and the control is even easier (it's either on or off...). Most importantly: the coffee is hot, delicious, and consistent every time. I'm also using a Baratza Virtuoso grinder, with the setting at 18.

Over the years we've had drip coffee makers, old school percolators, and Keurig. Tried everything from Folgers to grinding our own beans. This coffee maker produces the best coffee we've ever had (alternate between whole bean and ground coffee).

This is our second one of the same make because we love it. After 5 years, I had not descaled and the old maker stopped working. No question, we wanted the same again. Husband researched which to buy, the Technivorm brews at the right temp. and stays hot in the carafe for a long enough time.

The coffee maker is a perfect for our needs. It looks great in the kitchen and brews quickly and quietly. While more expensive than other machines, the design makes it impossible to have overflows, leaks or other coffee spill mishaps. Makes a perfect brew every time.

this is a pretty simple coffee maker, and makes a decent cup of coffee. the thermal carafe lip is too wide and too sharp, and the plastic coffee basket is a bit low quality compared to the rest of the unit. these are small issues, overall woukd highly recommend.

Like it a lot. Keeps coffee very hot for a long time with the cap closed. Took a few minutes to see how components click in place but close fitting parts is indicative of better design and quality control. Excellent coffee, simple operation.

I don't write reviews but feel compelled to do so now. I am completely addicted to my morning coffee, grind my beans fresh and research coffee makers routinely. I have gone through more coffee makers than I can remember. Some were good but hard to clean, others were just not good.

I love how quick the coffee brews. Easy parts to clean. I love the way the Coffee brewer produces HOT coffee, then place the tight lid on. The only disadvantage is within 30 minutes the coffee is not has hot. Other than that I can easily take parts and clean them daily.
