For recording projects, the DAW route is an attractive proposition - flexible and scalable - but once you start to plug all the bits together, it's actually a bit of a minefield. At the other end of the spectrum is the Portastudio concept: self-contained, predictable and often considered too basic...
I love this thing! Everything I need is right in front of me.. no more searching for plugins or updating software or computer crashes no hard drive to worry about.. And record to SD card! And that's a big plus!
Don't let the price fool you. This is one solid built unit and it sounds great! The Pros:1. It's built to last. Everything about this unit screams quality. I was actually shocked that it was built so well.. 2. Sound quality. While it may not be a Neve or SSL desk it's pretty darn nice sounding.
for us, useless.....at this level, we need USER CHOICES, not mfr dictatorship for sake of factory saving 2 dollars.we use mostly condenser mics and old fragile ribbon mics for realistic capture of music, butthis idiotic machine forces you to have 0, 4, or all 8 inputs for 48vdc phantom choices,...
this recorder works goods and has really excellent sound quality especially in the 24 bit mode. Cd's are only 16 bit, but i believe getting the best possible sound quality while editing and what not still has a positive effect even when you convert it to 16 bit for Cd burning.
This is an exelent product i love it .
I needed an easy way to record 8 microphones at once for live amateur radio show production. This is possibly the easiest way to record live and have enough flexibility to adjust and master the recording down to a professional final product.
segun lo que he visto me parece una herramienta excelente.Sinembargo quisiera que me mandaran mas informacion sobre el pago y la garantia de que llegue a su destino
