A long time ago this writer purchased a Tascam DA30 DAT recorder as a 2-Track mastering unit. At the time, to your correspondent, this represented the ultimate in audio quality.

Since I can't find a way to edit my review, I have to add this second review, may be I shouldn't be typing way passed midnight after a few drinks.The DA-3000 has coaxial in (and out), what it is missing is optical toslink in/out.
