I just got my TASCAM 200 in today, took about 5 min's to hook it up, I'm running it analog thru a SANSUI 771 receiver 1971 model, w/a ADC-20- ban graphic -pre 50-amp equalizer an a 5-way mixer, w/-6 Fisher speakers, I was totally impressed, W/a name like TEAC you really can't go wrong, for the price...
I have ordered two of the players and both have been working without any real problems. The only con would be that the play button makes a loud click when pushed. If a mic is hot anywhere near the player, the noise will be picked up.
Outstanding piece of equipment that I have paired with the TASCAM CD recorder. While I have owned CD players and recorders over the years, I am still a novice. After an adjustment period, I am confident that I will receive full enjoyment from this investment.
The product has functioned as advertised, is easy to use and functions really well. The Bluetooth feature is fabulous as several users can connect to the device. The sound is great and plays very old CD's with some damage where the old player could not.
Solid quality and easy to useMany useful features
Wish Bluetooth had a longer range
This is my second unit. Again there is a hum in the headphones. Wish I hadn't waited too long to return it again. Bummer.
Bought this to replace an older cd player in our church. Easy to operate and has been completely dependable so far.
Works perfectly. Awesome sound.
This is a solid machine with a decent transport--it really does look and feel like a broadcast-quality CD player from c. 1990. That said, it seems better built than many current $400-$500 machines. The on-board DAC is decent, but experimentally I am using it with an outboard DAC and it sounds great.
"DRV ERR" after only 2 years of light use in my studio. I wasn't blown away by the performane anyway, seems slow to respond to controls. Think I'll get a Denonor something instead.
Much better reproduction than my old player. And no more skipping!
