Great Recorder- but mainly for professional use. Not a "Housewife burns Blu-ray's of little jimmy's soccer game" kind of product.
Works very well for Blu-ray Authoring and Producing -- Software is good but takes time to understand full functionality. The only drawback is that it does not record live directly to Blu-ray.
Not working when received
I am an event videographer (mostly Weddings) and this unit has completly replaced my computer for producing Hi-Def DVD's and Blu-rays. I can import directly to unit from my Hi-Def Panasonic video camera and produce videos in Hi-Def Blu-Ray and conventional DVD's.
