The TCL 6-Series remains one of the best budget TVs you can buy thanks to its beautiful 4K HDR performance and inclusion of high-end AV formats like Dolby Vision, but its position in the top spot is now being challenged by Vizio and Hisense.
Outstanding bargain, Bright, colorful HDR, Supports Dolby Vision, Roku TV is amazing
HD upscaling could be better, Poor motion handling, Desaturated off-axis viewing, Weak audio
Excellent image quality, an affordable price and best-in-class Roku TV smarts propel the TCL 6-Series into the pole position of the midrange TV race.
Excellent overall image quality, with deep black levels, impressive brightness, rich contrast and more accurate color than last year. Its Roku platform is the best available. The TV handles both HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
Brightness and video processing fall short of some more expensive TVs. No AirPlay or Apple TV app (yet).
Love this TV. Instant and intuitive setup. Highly reactive and simple interface. Great picture. Zero dead pixels. Zero complaints.
Love this TV. Instant setup. Phenomenal picture. The interface is very reactive...no appreciable lag. #sweepstakes
I bought this in Dec 2019 to replace our broken 43in Vizio. I selected this after reading a bunch of reviews and buying two TCL R617's at work. This is an amazing tv with great sharpness, color, and contrast. As a video producer I was looking for something with very accurate color and it delivers!
The picture quality is AWESOME; especially considering the price. Also, the included ROKU is very easy to setup and extremely easy to navigate - I haven't figured out how to use the channel changer yet tho.
I have had this amazing TCL 65" QLED 6-Series TV for two weeks now, and I can't say enough about it. The picture is beautifully crisp and the colors jump out at you, This is my second TCL Roku TV.
Simply put this tv is the best bang for your buck when it comes to picture quality and roku tv is very smooth and fast albeit not the best-looking interface.
Great TV. Has lived up to all the hype. Definitely worthy waiting for. Best deal for the money and a top notch tv regardless of price. No reason to spend Hundreds of dollars more. Used the savings and upgraded my sound system.
After 1 month owning this TV, I have bought myself a DAC to have the TV connected through Toslink (optical output) to it to get sound through my active speakers. The optical output keeps on dropping the signal. I have alao tried the optical output with an AV receiver, same issue.
This TV looks great. PROS - vibrant, price, PQ Cons - Feet are wide, motion could be better, upscaling could be better. the motion ruins this TV for me, its very stuttery when watching 24p content
Amazing picture. No banding no overly dark corners. Love this set much better then last years tcl 55R617* series which i also have. Watching aquaman on this set was beautiful and captivating. We had friends over to watch and they were all in awe.
