Tcl S525 55" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart LED TV

Was great until now . Out of nowhere I started getting this bouncing picture /like breaks glitch across the screen every couple of seconds. No matter what setting or app I’m in. Tried clearing cache, resetting , rebooting etc. such a disappointment.

Bought this tv in 2019 and till this day it’s picture quality stands out from most newer brands and models. Never knew what Dolby vision was until this but WOW. The smart features are incredibly fast, no crashing or freezing. You can even cast/mirror your iPhone screen to it. Highly recommend!

My husband and I bought this TV back in April of 2020 and I use it as a TV as well as a computer monitor. We've had a number of Flat screens over the years and this is my first Roku Smart TV. 2.5 years later we are still happy with our purchase.

the picture is great, awesome colors and super detailed. be aware, its not really 120hz, its 60hz. but still worth it for the price. I wish when you turned the TV on it would be on the last input from when the TV was turned off instead of the main menu every time. But its a pretty small complaint.

I got the TV on sale and can’t believe how great it is for the value. The remote may seem oversimplifying but it works well. All the functionality I need out of a TV. Ability to add or remove stations like apps and also rename your inputs is amazing for someone OCD like myself

I have the 55inch 4k version and I bought it for $350 in 2020. The software, controller and ability to connect to a sound bar is absolutely abysmal. It is slow, the controller is so incredibly cheap, it has a low refresh rate so it is terrible for any game console (even with "game mode on").

HDMI input is just completely broken on this TV. This TV ONLY has HDMI inputs. You see the dilemma? I try four different cables in every single port in a million different variations just to get "Is it on?" message when the device works on literally every other display I have.

So we got this in May 2020. In Nov 2022 the screen started to randomly fade to black. Called support, said it was out of warranty, told to do some button pressing and it temporarily fixed it. Now Jan 2023 the screen started to glitch, like a lot.

TV stopped working after 2 years 8 months . Next TV will be a different brand.

I’ve never in my life had such a hard time with a TV. The remote stopped working and no matter how many new ones I buy, none of them connect. Now I have a completely useless TV, I can’t even connect it to my network to use my phone as a remote. 0 stars
