Tcl 5-Series S535 55" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart QLED TV

I bought this TV about 6 months ago to use as a main TV in our moderately sized family room. It was purchased to replace the exact same model (s535) purchased a year prior in the 50” size. That set was moving to our bedroom.

Going from a Samsung Qled 55' to this was a bit of an adjustment (accident with old tv), but overall happy with the purchase. Pros - bargain price. Quick startup, seamless internet setup and roku app works flawlessly and has all my apps including hbo, Disney, Hulu, prime, Netflix etc.

Flor provided excellent, courteous and professional support when I had trouble with a image issue with my television after about 9 months of use.

The picture on this TV is nice. The speakers are good enough for me. I am not a gamer or a picture/sound snob. I just wanted a TV that works and doesnt have a crazy amount of ads in its ecosystem. At first it was nice but the software has become worse and worse.

We have had this TV for several years now - it gets its updates seamlessly, quick app access, looks and sounds great!

I have very little tolerance for inaccurate color reproduction and high latency displays. Fortunately, the 55" S535 only has one of these issues. I was in the market for the best rated 55in tv I could get without spending a fortune. I'd never heard of TCL and was hesitant to take a chance on a brand I wasn't familiar with. However every rating I checked had the TCL rated higher than all the comparable models from the big familiar brands, so...

Have had this TV for about 3 months, the picture and features are excellent. I have no complaints, it’s an excellent TV for the money.

Wanted a 55” tv so did a lot of research and decided to give this one a try. Setup was quick and easy and the picture and colors are amazing! This is especially noticeable watching football and the uniforms are the colors/shades they should be. Flesh tones are accurate, everything just looks great.
