Light and solid Tripod that is easy to use.
This lightweight tripod has leg lever locks which open and close easily allowing for quick setup of my Swarovski spotting scope. My only complaint is the foam shoulder pads which emit a rubbery odor..hopefully this problem will dissipate eventually.

We've been struggling with a cheaper tripod for our scope and was hardly using it. The tripod with the Swarovski head is so smooth and easy to use that now the scope sits in the living room where we can grab it fast for easy viewing.
I recently purchased the Swarovski CT 101 tripod with DH 101 head to be used for long range observation while hunting as well as wildlife photography. The combination is undoubtedly pricy but worth the money in my opinion, as it's rock solid and built to last.
I replaced my aluminum tripod with this carbon fiber one for my Vortex Razor 20-60x85 spotting scope. It works well. It does seem to dampen the vibrations and wind more than the aluminum. Not to mention half the weight reduction. The padding is adequate for the reduced weight.
