As the instructions state it takes two people to unbox the TV don't try and to remove from box with only one person. The metal legs are well constructed with a solid feel and nice finish. Impressive picture quality from the start and plenty of options to adjust to various viewing environments.
Straight forward set-up resulting in viewing pleasure
The legs support the TV without difficulty but do not provide a wide base of support which should be considered if the TV might be accidentally bumped or the floor transmits vibration or movement to the stand which might cause a tipping hazard.
We replaced our Sony X850C with this X950H (both 65"). The 850C was growing a bit old and wasn't the greatest picture in the first place. It was from a time when 4K TVs were fairly new and the TV didn't even do HDR until a software update. The X950H produces a sharp picture, and its FALD backlight is...
Very good picture quality, motion handling, and HDR movie watching. Support Dolby Vision but lacks next-gen gaming support features like HDMI 2.1 and VRR. The legs are able to be mounted on the very outside or about 6 inches inward; however, they wouldn't work on my stand mounted at the ends or...
Love the TV...just the right size! Setup was easy but instructions for using the remote were highly lacking, even online (at least I could not find what I was looking for). Overall, I'd say buy it if you are looking for a Sony in any size.
Clear pic, easy to set up, sound is ok. The 65" screen is easy to read.
Excellent well thought out product. Superb for large open room, wide views great contrasts and colors. Takes a few minutes to assemble the support stands, be no fear they are well designed.Controls and set up very easy to walk through. This is a two person set up, so take that in consideration.
It's a Sony
None to think of
Used it for about a month now. A bit partial since a long time fan of Sony TVs. This X950H 55" is my first LED Android. It has nice colors and upscaling, however the white on black always has a glow around it and the droid OS is sketchy and the TV wakes up in the middle of the night on its own.
The picture quality absolutely does not disappoint - especially when streaming 4k. The sound is good and accurate but still need to add a sound bar to make it more enjoyable. The only downsides to me are this TV can be very bright at times and the preprogrammed stuff on the is a tad annoying.
This Television is amazing!! I've only bought Sony tvs for thier exceptional viewing experience. The 950H series has truly vibrant colors and deep blacks. I would pair it with a sound bar just to get that cinematic sound.
I have owned Sony TVs my entire life and this one did not disappoint me in functionality and picture quality. The colors and clarity are very vivid. My only disappointment was in not having the Apple TV app when purchased a couple of months ago. It is recently available as part of a software update.
