I've switched from Samsung after many years to this Sony TV. The set up was easy - just follow the prompts - without any adjustments to the preset settings which were very good to my viewing taste. I also like the voice command feature of the remote and all the app features that are available.
Great picture settings right out of the box. Voice command works efficiently. The android phone compatibility with the set up was confusing.
Having to switch HDMI settings when I don't understand the reason for it other than switching from streaming. I'll get the hand of it I'm sure. Having to face the remote exactly to tv
Am giving it 3 stars because the jury is still out on this tv. Thought it was fine but then less than 2 weeks after getting it I woke up recently to no sound at all on tv. I tried to figure out how to fix it and solved the immediate issue but still need to talk to tech support because I'm not sure...
Purchased the 43" a month ago to stream video media and play video games. This TV has apps to the majority of mainstream services (netflix, hulu, etc), and has iPhone mirroring. It doesn't yet have appleTV app available to it, but my understanding is that it should be in the future.
I have had the television for a month. There are no negative comments to make, it is a great TV withA beautiful picture and good sound.
We needed a smaller format TV for our guest room. This is perfect. The picture is amazing. We use a small JBL soundbar placed behind the set for better sound. I found the interface to be more confusing than my LG sets. But, I now find most of what I need quickly using voice command.
Unfamiliar to me interface.
Pros:Good speakersDecent contrastModerately easy initial setupEasy navigationCons:Severe motion blur (not good if you are an action movie fan)Has a power brick instead of a built in inverterShort power cord from TV to brick and brick to outlet
The television is really excellent; great picture, great internet access, very good broadcast quality. Our major issue was with the sound. Like all new TV's (apparently) the built-in sound system sucks, and the unit has to be connected to a sound bar or other external system.
I love this TV. Beautiful Picture. Great Sound. Purchased this to replace our 1st Sony, which we had for over a decade. So far, so good.
Purchased this TV recently, as I was looking for something the the 40" range for my home. After reading some reviews, and the description on this TV, I decided to go with it. Have to admit, I was a bit disappointed with this purchase.
Physical appearance is nice
Picture quality is just okay. Color display, average.
I originally wanted to buy Samsung or LG however the stands we’re on the sides or too wide. I had a Sony triniton For almost 20 years still works. I also google how to put a Roku and AT&T TV however I needed space contemplated and cried for selling my Sony TV but I’m glad to be back because I really...
