Sony Vertical Battery Grip for a7/a7R/a7S Digital Camera (Black)

In all honesty it’s the perfect Sony A7 accessory for me. It was worth every penny, practical and adds a lot of functionality. To boot, having extra battery life, extra stability is useful. Putting the grip on the Sony A7 made me question my decision to upgrade my Nikon D700.

We own 4 of these for each of our a7s. They have all done the same thing. Over time the connection becomes unstable and when you bump the camera or hold it the wrong way the camera reboots and the file that is being recorded become corrupt. Going to try to get my money back. Wish me luck

I love grips and Sony grips especially. Greatly ergonomic and I love having all my necessary buttons there right where I am used to them. Love the extra battery life and never having to worry about running out of juice!

I bought this at the same time I bought my Sony a7. After a couple of years the battery tray will start to fall apart. I've never had any problems with my 20+ year old Nikon vertical grips.

This grip was a big disappointment. Yes, it works but it does not feel good in my hands. While other manufacturers seem to make a real effort to create grips that somehow accommodate the human hand Sony seems to have forgotten this all important step.

Does what it's designed for. Holds two batteries and works great as a vertical grip. Unfortunately, it also greatly increases the wieght and size of the camera.

The Sony Vertical Grip addresses the principal concern of most A7 users: poor battery life. With a second battery in there you at least have a chance in high volume shooting or extremely low temperatures.

Happy with purchase, adds extra body to the camera making it easiet to grip. Looks good as well. Quality build, will alow me to shoot twice as long without interruptions.

Has a nice and soft grip that won't slip.

This is an amazing product and a must if you are going to get this camera. The battery life with this camera isn't that great and it always dies at the worst times...The Vertical Battery Grip has really saved me a few times! It also makes the camera a lot easier to handle

Was sent back. After lusting for the A7 for over a year, I finally picked one up. I was very disappointed in the camera, especially compared to my Olympus OMD EM1. You will need more than one battery with the Sony A7.
