I am a Certified Professional Photographer who pixel peeps. I have a huge array of Canon gear to compare with when evaluating the Sony gear. I was very happy with the stunning performance of the a7R2 camera and 70-200 Gmaster lens, and equally impressed with the 1.4 teleconverter which maintained...
Fast lens and very portable, so nice for traveling if you have a Sony DSLR. Not great with lights or flares - they just blast your photo, and because mine didn't come with a lens cap it's been a harrowing few weeks checking it every couple hours for dust and scratches.
After reading the mediocre reviews for the SEL16F28, I ended up trying this lens (SEL20F28). The lens has proved to be very handy, and I am generally happy with the photos. The photos are sharp, but low light scenes may be a little dark with some vignetting. Two jpeg photos are uploaded for review.
This lens is exactly what I was needing!I own a Sony a6500 and I needed a lens for my Zhiyun Crane that was lighter than the lens I was already using (Sony 18-105 F4). This lens is super light and the F2.8 aperture really helps with blurring the background out.
Nice lens, works well, no complaints
Image quality is hardly any better than 18-50 mm kit lens with Sony A6000, I was disappointed and returned this lens.
Great little lens. I am still new to photography but I bought this as an upgrade from the kit lens and I am pleased with its performance relative to the kit lens so far.
Great on FE lenses. Don't work on any others.....works great.
I have a Sony A6000, it has a cropped sensor and came with 2 kit lenses (16-50mm, and 70-200mm) both having low light gathering capabilities. So the end result is that I had great little camera, but a limited field of view and that required higher ISO than acceptable to get the shots I wanted.
excellent quality and usefullness
