I am very pleased by the fact that the progress of photographic optics hasn't stopped. From time to time you see such unique lenses being launched as the Sony FE 20-70 mm f/4 G, tested here.

Light weight, good functionality, and excellent images.

Just what I needed! It's very flexible bit of kit, great range of focal lengths and very easy to handle because of its modest weight.

Using this lens on a Sony A7r5 and lens is sharp edge to edge even at 20mm and build is like GM lens. Great walk about lens.

Two weeks in and I am yet to find any real annoyances with this lens. So far it is the best every day travel / landscape zoom I have found. Ok the bokeh is not lovely, but at 70mm f4 it is acceptable for most everyday use.
