The TV still has a few bugs that need to be worked out. I’m still having an issue with Dolby Vision working with my Apple TV connected through my Marantz receiver.( this seems to be a known issue with multiple brands of receivers) I have to constantly switch HDMI settings depending on whether I’m...
Excellent picture quality and better sound than expected
The only bad thing to say about this tv is it’s very buggy with some DV issues going on, amongst a few other minor things that I know will be fixed with a fw update. On to the good - this blows my old A80j out of the water. Finally hdr the ways it’s supposed to look!
The Sony Bravia is an excellent QD OLED TV. Movies using Dolby Vision are bright and clean with excellent color saturation, contrast and black levels. Main selling points over LG and Samsung is sound quality out of the built-in speakers and the simple but very usable remote: has backlighting and...
This is an easy five star tv, if not for logo dimming. Sports fans take notice. When watching SDR sports with peak luminance set to high, the tv will dim down over time when there’s a static scoreboard, making the broadcast much less impactful.
It was a long wait but worth it. Set up is easy. It's a big screen and thin so get some help lifting it safely. It has great sound on its own but I have a Sony surround system and the connection was seamless. Definitely the nicest TV I've ever owned. If you can afford it, get it.
Super clear, bright and still crisp on black. I upgraded from Bravia 4k-65”-2017 to A95L-77” and immediately noticed the huge difference. Loving it.
I can’t believe the quality of the picture. Outstanding! It is truly a masterstroke of technology.
Planned on getting a 77 inch TV when I built our entertainment center. Sony came out with the A95L and we had to wait 9 months until it was available. The wait was worth it. Outstanding picture quality even in European productions which tend to be simpler in terms of using technology.
I replaced my 2008 Panasonic plasma (50 inch) with the Sony 77 inch oled master series, and I’m very pleased. It was worth the wait. The picture is in incredible! Highly recommend.
