This tv has a gorgeous picture. The one thing I don’t understand is why the tv won’t display video info such as HDR or Dolby Vision when playing 4K. Sony customer support is a rabbit hole of endless links to possible solutions. Even the chat seems to not be a real person.
I watch both over the air local programming as well as Peacock and Paramount streaming.Picture is amazing on the Streaming, depending on what I'm watching. I feel the blacks are almost to black, and yes, I have adjusted the various hues, colors, ect. The remote lMO really sucks.
I bought a Bravo 77" model 80. It is a great TV. It has a sharp picture. Got the sound bar and subwoofer with it . Sounds great also. Not long after we had it the picture went out. Blank screen except for a thin line on the left. After research we had to do a hard reset. It did work.
We use the Sony primarily for movies and are not disappointed. The colors are vivid and images very sharp. The first time you watch it you think oh my gosh this is awesome. We installed surround sound speakers so the combination works great.
Overall happy with the TV. Picture looks awesome and plays very well with the PS5. Easy to navigate. Only issue is the tv keeps freezing and you have to unplug it to reset because everything stops working including the remote. Haven’t been able to figure it out as to why.
Love the picture, but wish the remote was backlit like my other Sony.
Great picture. Love the colors and the black levels. The sound is good. Voices come from the TV like a center channel. I use the Sony HT-A7 sound system for the audio that can use the TV as the center channel. Would of liked the remote to have been back lite.
Sony always a great tv. Used to be a Samsung guy, actually have some and Phillips too but you can't beat Sony's "true black".
Really love the colors on this tv, very vibrant. Sports look great. My only concern was I have a hard time getting the facial tones just right. Overall I really like this tv and I have already recommended it to my friends.
Very clear and easy to use daily. switch back and forth for streaming and regular TV very happy to have the Sony replacement
