"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.

Nice Stereo Reciever for the money.
The STR-DH190 is replacing an older Sony Stereo/Video Receiver that is no longer available. I needed A & B Speakers for wired outdoor speakers, which it has. It would be nice if it had a preamp in/out for my Bose 901 Equalizer, but the speakers sound fine without it. Turntable with ground wire works as intended. Also have a Cassette and CD Player connected. The Bluetooth was easy to sync with my android phone. Most of my use is FM Radio, with good reception with the supplied antenna. Volume knob has a nice heft/resistance when turning. Manual buttons, input selector knob and remote are easy to use, with understandable display on Receiver.

Excellent Stereo Receiver - Met all my needs!
I was looking for a replacement for my very old receiver. I needed a replacement that would accept a phono (record turntable) input. The Sony STR-DH190 was one of the few I could find that would do that. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also had Bluetooth connectivity as well as a front jack for connecting portable devices.
Not only do I have my Record Turntable connected, but I run my TV audio through it, and I use the portable device jack to connect my Korg synthesizer keyboard! I also use Bluetooth to connect my phone, tablet, and desktop computer. Every function works just as expected. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Sounds Great But Controls Are Very Unintuitive
Sound quality is great. But basic controls, like right-left balance have to be done with the remote using a digital menu. What ever happened with a simple knob that you turn left for left, right for right? Same for bass and treble controls. You have to cycle through the menu wit the remote to adjust. Kind of ridiculous, actually. And figuring out how to cycle through the menu to do these basic functions involved a lot of trial and error. While the manual explains the different options it doesn't actually SHOW you how to reach them. Very frustrating. But for the price it was worth it for the good sound quality which is really the main point.

Can a relatively well priced receiver possible this good? No, this receiver is outstanding. I bought this as a bridge until I could afford something better, Sony ES or Marantz. After hours/weeks of listening, I found what I am looking for. Adjustable phono gain, pure direct, Bluetooth, this receiver delivers. I have an older Sony cd player, Fluence turntable, bookshelf Klipsh studio reference speakers and my little system is a keeper. I listen to all genres of music including ambient which has layers of intricate sounds; this Sony delivers. I have been a Sony fan for over 40 years (yes I'm old). I love Sony. Sony, you got this Receiver "just right". Thank you.

Lot of Receiver for the money
I purchased this product so I could enjoy playing my LPs on a turntable. The music sounds pure as it is paired with Edifier speakers. With the ability to stream via Bluetooth, I can stream from my iPhone, iPod and iPad. I need not suffer listening to my music through the device’s speaker. I have powerful room filling music passing through my Sony DTR-DH190 receiver. Also, there are 4 additional inputs not including the phono input for a total of 5. The phono input has an all important ground connection. Two pairs of speakers can be connected, if you choose.

Just what I needed and nothing more.
I had not looked at receivers for about 20 years but my old one went kaput and forced me to. This one seemed the best choice for me with not many bells and whistles involved. I don't use Bluetooth though the remote is badly needed if you want to constantly mess with all the operations. No surround sound option. Enough power for my large standing speakers, input from mobile source like a tablet or cell phone have not been tried yet. All and all, I'm very satisfied with my unit, even though a month is not long term use. Since I usually leave it set for TV use, volume change is the most used feature. The Sony remote was used to set it up and some options are only available using it.

Great Clean Sounding and Powerful
This receiver does a great job of playing my 60-80 records through its Phono channel at volumes close to what I remember back then when I was playing them in a band at the clubs. Clean and accurate.
My only wish for the receiver would be:
1: Not have a proprietary FM antenna
My reception is a little on the week side and I always used an amplified
FM antenna to pull in a lot more stations from Philly, New York and Chicago.
2: Wish it have a PreAmp Out and Amp In connections so I could add my 10 band
graphic equalizer to the system to further tailor the sound output more.
But all and all for the price, this is a good system hub.

I received this as a Christmas gift and I have to say I was very upset! I plugged in everything properly, followed the instruction manuals step by step, and when I pressed the power, the light turned green for about 8 seconds and then everything shut off. The display never lit up and its not because of the brightness. I already turned up the brightness but nothing happened. I watched countless videos and even reset it. I also unplugged it for a few minutes and plugged it back in. The display still does not turn on. I'm very sad because this was all I had asked for for Christmas, and it wont even stay on for more than 8 seconds :(
