I've had this Sony stereo receiver for a few days now and it has surprised me in a very good way with performance for the price. I'm comparing this receiver to a Yamaha receiver that costs more than three times as much and the Sony sounds as good, if not better than the Yamaha unit, and both sound...
Hey Everybody, I got it on a whim, because I had to hear what everybody was talking about. I was shocked at how good it is. Bluetooth is pretty good, FM is ok. My CDs sound excellent. I think it's really a bargain. Bottom line it's a Sony. Things got some punch.
It's a great little receiver. It's worth more than the price. Great Wi-Fi.
For that price NONE
This is an excellent receiver sound wise with bluetooth. Almost unbeatable for the price. But if you still listen to FM you may have issues. I did not think for one second that they would have a specialized jack for the FM antenna, only to find out I am unable to hook up an external coaxial cable...
This is a superb product. I got it as a replacement for my old receiver and not only does it allow me to continue to connect to FM radio, my turntable, CD player, and tape deck, but the sound coming out of my speakers is terrific.
The price was not the only deciding factor for me. Over my 50 years I have owned many sony products from T.V.s to stereos and they have always lasted way past my expectations. This Receiver will not disappoint you. I have very old cheap speakers and my sound is better than I expected.
Easy to hook up to my system. Very affordable. Has plenty of volume for a home stereo system. I needed this receiver as it had a phone input. You can switch speaker impedance from 6ohms below and 8 ohm and above.
A very smart amp - it has options, and programming features, I wasn't expecting - like changing Impedance levels to match the speakers I am using. You also have a 3.5 Front Input to play portable devices [using a headphone-like stereo jack - on a double jack-ended cord], & Bluetooth for either...
Replaced my 29 year old Sony receiver when a channel went out. Since I retired and now live in a 3 story condo building, I did not need as much power. This is a simple unit and sounds good for the money. If you are looking for a pro unit with bells and whistles, this is NOT it.
I love this little inexpensive amp! It has a nice phono pre-amp and it sounds great with my B&W bookshelf speakers as well as with my Yamaha NS10s. The bluetooth connect is really easy to setup and the remote is one of the better remotes that I've had with a piece of equipment.
I'm usually an old school music buff. Anything older is great as long as the device works great and look great. This unit is sleek...Has many features of old school recievers, plus all the modern 2020 features. Plus a remote...Never had that before woth a reciever. I highly recommend this unit.
