Bought this to replace an old 12 inch sony that had stopped working. Smaller in size but way bigger sound. Couldn't be happier with this. Sound quality is great but I am not an audiophile. Working in a 7.1 system.

Needed to replace an older Sony subwoofer of 19 years Sony subwoofers is a great value for what I need. May even buy a twin to this one. My receiver supports two subs.

Got this to fill in the lowest of the low frequencies with a pair of vintage KEF bookshelf reference monitors with a new Rotel integrated amp. Now our system sounds like DisneylandI put on the soundtrack from the Fantasmic show, and I can feel it just like I was at the show.

To appease my wife I needed a small subwoofer to compliment a smaller pair of vintage ADS speakers in our condo living area. The Sony 10" woofer was a good solution for me. It fits right where I need it (laying on its side) and fills in sonically from 35-75Hz nicely where the smaller speakers don't.

I was looking for an a smaller sub to complement a new pair of KEF Q100s. This fit the bill perfectly - great sound, small size and affordable price.

I've had Sony products in my car and home for years and never a single issue. This sub compliments my 5.1 setup perfectly and I expect the same level of quality as all other Sony products I own.

Set controls in the middle until I use it more. I did not have a sub so it really makes a difference. I have to say that the instructions are a bit criptic andy show the back of the subwoofer properly.If there is something online I did not check.Just the instructions.
