I replaced a previous Sony pcm with this model. The quality is excellent but the difference is that it is far more user friendly,smaller, lighter and more versatile. Quality excellent. I love it's flexibility in different situations. Highly recommended
This a remarkable, discrete, lightweight recorder and it produces superb results. I use it for recording music - saxophone, guitars, full bands - and it is very capable in these areas.
