Affordable and approachable, the Sony MDR-1AM2 is a great starting pair of audiophile headphones. They’re not quite as clear as some of the highest-end headphones at CES but, for the money, they look to be an ideal introduction to Sony’s ever-expanding world of hi-res audio.

Music sounds fantastic on these headphones. Sony has done really well with these! I definitely recommend them for the quality of sound you’re getting for the price and they are extremely comfortable to wear as well.

These headphones are very lightweight, you can wear these for hours and hours and you'll never feel pain or discomfort; the ear pads have soft memory foam so they mould to your ears and the band is padded too, overall they are very light and flexible.
