Sony KDL-48R510C 48"-Class Full HD Smart LED TV

Overall, this is a very good tv for pretty much any sort of use. I would highly recommend it! 9/10

great picture but "Smart" functions aren't worth extra money. No browser, mostly junk apps (no Hulu, HBO, etc.), no way to download useful apps. Only audio out is digital optical and has been very problematic.

We've been using this for 6 months. No problems so far. Picture and sound are satisfactory. Can't comment on the bells & whistles because we use and control it with a TiVo remote.

All of our other TVs are Samsung which we love and already know how to use. This was a GREAT buy, and it has a fabulous picture. The sound is fine, too - not sure why some folks disagree. Once we get used to the remote, we will probably love this Sony.

The only thing that is bothering me and my fiancé is that it is slightly lagged. For example, a button is pressed on the remote and it takes a minute for it to pop up. Not sure if it's our internet connection or what but it happens. Not a bad issue tho. Other than that, great tv!

Not sure if we got a bad model but picture quality is not what we expected. Not sharp. Will keep trying different settings. Update: Turns out part of the problem was cable box. So moved up a star to 3

The first TV received had a large chunk of the front film missing, allowing all the light to shine through. Very distracting. We submitted for a return. After the return was completed, the second TV appeared to be fine, but sound delays began within months. At first we thought it was an aging Roku.

I brought this TV to replace my parent's 46" Sony flat screen TV that my kids ruined. Anyways, it was ALOT cheaper than the original model my parents purchased (the original one was $2000 - good thing they paid it off long ago), it was a little bigger, and it came with a lot more options to include...

I should have returned this when I had the chance; I waited too long and now I am stuck with this piece of crap. It gets worse by the day. One of the first things to go wrong is the constant freezing. OH and when it does freeze I cannot turn it off via the remote; I have to unplug it!

I would give it 2 stars but I'm angry. Applications don't load correctly. I've been asked ten times to agree to the privacy policy. Most time the interface just freezes at that point requiring restart. Twice i've agreed but it comes back up. If you dont agree to the snooping they turn off wifi.
