The Sony Inzone M9 is an incredibly impressive gaming monitor. At $899, it’s very competitive with other HDMI 2.1-ready 4K gaming monitors with the benefit of having a much better backlighting system to boot.
bought it and have fallen in love with the purchase i made
This is the first "gaming monitor" I've owned and I can definitely see the difference in the quality of the video that you get. Between the higher refresh rates and the display properties itself, everything looks great onscreen.
The picture quality absolutely blew me away. High resolution, super fast refresh rate, this thing ROCKS! I don't think I've ever been more pleased with a monitor. Since it's a Sony, it should last a good long time as well.
I consider myself a very tech conscious person, and truthfully this monitor did not do it for me. I have owned many Sony TVS, but never a gaming monitor. Usually I prefer brands such as Acer, MSI, ROG Strix, because of their ability to offer 240hz.
WOW. Spendy but super quality / specs. Very Jetsons-like design quality too lol.
There is a purple back light in the middle of the monitor, it is not a defective pixels, not dead pixel. I am from Hong Kong, deliver fee to return is about 400USD, sony Hong Kong cannot give me support.
This monitor is my first foray into the world of 4K monitors and it has been an interesting experience to say the least. My use case, unlike a lot of the reviews I’ve seen for it, are as a pure computer monitor.
Anytime you turn it on, or while playing a game it cuts out black and says “searching for signal” for about 10 seconds. Kind of a deal breaker when it happens in middle of the a game lol
2 hdmi, display port, 3 usb-a, 1 usb-c This is the best monitor I’ve ever owned. The 4k resolution at 144hz is amazing. I am using this on my PS5 and have played a few native PS5 games on it.
I bought a couple of these a couple months ago now. So far they have been working great. The picture quality is amazing, even in SDR, since my OS doesn't support HDR yet. Displays like this help drive demand for native HDR support on Linux :)
