Have only had it a few weeks but so far so good. I've done a few paid jobs (sports) with it and the video comes out really nice. Nice features, love the built in ND filters and when in auto mode the camera will tell you what ND filter to use.
I used this camera for about 4 or 5 hours and chose to return it. It's a hefty price to pay for something that doesn't do high frame rate in at least HD. I did like the beefyness of the unit. The 3 separate rings were great to dial in on aperture, zoom, and focus.
This camera has everything that we need to do concerts, weddings, and just about everything in between. It's sonys best
For the price, it is unbelievable wow! Just a few years back one would have to pay 6000 grand for a camera as comparable to this. Full HD pic is beautiful.
Easy to use, great video and audio quality, I like it.
I only gave it 4 stars simply because of hand shake. I'm still new to the camcorder and used to another model with floating lens which removes any and all shakiness while filming. Other than that, if you don't need 4K, this is an excellent choice for indoor, outdoor and studio shoots using a tripod.
I very like this camera. Is the one of my favorite. I recommended.
Awesome camcorder so far did have an issue the first time using it outdoors for a while it wouldn't focus right but I think it was the major humidity I was in. I let it set our for a while the next day before firing it up and it worked great.
Camera is outstanding. The only issue I have is the small screen. I had a couple issues where I thought I was in focus but it wasn't.
I needed a video camera that could deal with low light in conference situations. Also I wanted better video quality than AVCHD but not necessarily 4K. I also needed the camera to look large and impressive because that's what my customers expect when I arrive.
