Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II G Full-Frame FE-Mount Lens

The first 50 f1.4 from Minolta was once listed as 200 and this one obviously doubled the price. Came along with my A100, I was very satisfied with its performance. Central sharpness is an non issue, and when stopping down to f2.8, everything becomes sharper.

I own this lens...and it hasn't let me down whatsoever. The build is fantastic and the images are razor sharp. I also own the 135mm 1.8 Zeiss as well. Now, in terms of contrast it comes up in spades. Its also virtually silent to focus from a mechanical perspective.

I didn't realize how much I would like a 50 mm lens until I bought one. I don't use it at its 1.4 aperture but everything else gives me a nice sharp picture. I use it on an A7 with the Sony adapter and it's great.

Color, crispness, clarity are all great, even in low light settings. Lots of flexibility when playing with the focal plane. The autofocus is fast enough and pretty accurate. For the price, this lens is a bargain.

I've been wanting one of these 50mm lenses for years. Finally decided it was now or never. Man, I'm happy I made the plunge. This lens is awesome for taking pictures indoors with low light. My dog is solid black and I've never been able to get a good picture of him.

This is a very nice small and light weight lens. Image quality is excellent by f/2.8 and it has typical Minolta colors and a lot of 3D too.

While some have said this is too expensive for a 50mm I'm fairly confident this comes from those that don’t own one. Granted, I too was skeptical until I received it. I started with the usual quick pics around the home so it didn’t get a real workout until my last trip to Italy.

Read many reviews on this lens glad i did, this is a fantastic lens for the price. I'm a novice, so for now i need to depend on other peoples reviews, and i beleive it averaged close to five stars. I've used this lens mostly inside and in automatic and all my pics have come out outstanding.
