If I HAD to have just one lens, and it HAD to be cheap, then this would be it. The thing is, I should've just saved more money because I know my a7sii has so much more potential.Single-shot AF is fast and relatively accurate. Continuous AF while video recording is slow.
The lens came as a kit lens with the Sony Alpha a7K. Handy and very light weight, okay for day-to-day photography. Not too fast, but okay. Used it for capturing fireworks, and it came out pretty good. Picture attached, just minor edits in Lightroom. Very clean and sharp.
Good lens with nice image quality, albeit you're often at F5.6 due to the variable aperture. Definitely worth the price, though.
Nice and light compared to the Sony 24-210mm lens.
great for a kit lens.
Great lens in amazing condition!
it had what I need for this pricing! great lens for travel. light
It was so disappointing .. I bought SonyA7ii only with 55 1.8. Later i decided to buy with this one for teh zoom functionality. The lens is slow. You cannot rely on this for fast performance. we have to let it take its won time to focus and then take the shot..
This is working perfectly with my Sony A7 and A7II.
good for a kit lens. Still need to up my budget for a better lens
