I haven’t rated a Sony product this low in years. But it absolutely deserves it and I’m not going to sit here trying to sell you folks on a product in an effort to make an affiliate sale. I’ve never been about that.
I have used the commander with up to three Sony HVLF45RM flashes. the commander is easy to pair and you can assign and control each flash independently or in groups (TTL, Maunal, etc.) Adjusting power from the commander to each flash or group is fairly simple.
I use this (along with the FA-WRR1 receivers) on both the A99ii and RX10IV. It makes using off camera flashes incredibly simple. It brings the Sony flash system up to-date as the old Minolta designed optical flash triggering was reliant on line of sight between commander and receiver.
I dont use it very often, but it worked flawlessly when I need it.
Great product. Easy and perfect setup. No issues with communication to Sony F60RM speed light. Light weight.
Very useful for off camera flash specially for Sony flashes.
At last! I can now explore endless possibilities with my speed lights. I had already made the commitment to four Sony speed lights - the F60M, F43M, and two F32m's; BUT I was stuck for getting the most out of them for off-camera use.
